Class outings – “71 degrees North” day (modelled after the reality show), but no-one is voted out!
Children and youngsters love challenges, play and fun. Here with us, they will find intense challenges and tasks to master. Climbing, canoeing, orienteering, rafting, ravine hiking and more. We sleep under the clear sky or in a lavvo tent which accommodates 90 pupils.
We have instructors that have more than 20 years experience in working with children and youngsters. Safety has top priority, but we distinguish between what is dangerous and what is uncomfortable; i.e. it is not dangerous to tip round in a canoe, but is may be uncomfortable unless the necessary safety equipment is present. We believe that “learning by doing” is important.
We have various programmes for various age groups. We organize a “71 degrees North” day and night where nobody is voted out, but during which the participants really test themselves out in various situations. We believe that physical education is important. Therefore, we also require the lower secondary school pupils from Trondheim to use their bikes to get up here as a part of the event.
We also offer day programs. Call us programme suggestions and price!
